Privacy policy
Effective August 17, 2026. This policy explains how Sendvo Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects information across our website, applications, accounts, support, and print-and-mail services.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Sendvo’s websites, applications, accounts, workspaces, customer support, and print-and-mail services (collectively, the “Service”). Sendvo Inc., a Delaware corporation, is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy. Our Terms of Service govern use of the Service.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We collect information such as your name, email address, organization, workspace membership, account preferences, authentication and session records, and other profile information you provide.
When you request an industry report, we collect your work email, job title, company name, monthly mail volume range, selected industry, requested report, and any optional email-marketing consent.
Campaign, audience, and recipient information
We collect and process campaign names, audience criteria, uploaded lists, recipient names and postal addresses, sender information, offers, mailpiece content, Proofs, approvals, campaign quantities, production instructions, and available mailstream or delivery-status events.
Payment and transaction information
We collect records of subscriptions, credit purchases, wallet balances, quotes, charges, refunds, invoices, and campaign transactions. Payment-card details are processed by a payment processor; Sendvo does not store full card numbers.
Communications and support
We collect messages, attachments, feedback, support requests, consent and unsubscribe records, and other information you send us.
Device, usage, and website information
We collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, session activity, approximate region, performance information, timestamps, and security events. The public marketing site uses analytics to understand page use. Some of those tools are cookieless. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it may use cookies or similar identifiers. We also use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. When you arrive through an advertisement, we may collect bounded campaign labels and Meta browser or click identifiers. The application may use essential cookies or similar storage for authentication, security, and user preferences.
3. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from customers and users, from their authorized agents and connected services, automatically from browsers and devices, from service providers that support the Service, and from licensed, public, or commercially available address and audience sources.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide accounts, workspaces, audience tools, Proofs, credit quotes, payments, print-and-mail fulfillment, and status information;
- authenticate users and authorized agents, secure the Service, prevent fraud and misuse, and investigate incidents;
- process transactions, maintain financial and audit records, and provide customer support;
- communicate about accounts, billing, security, Proofs, Sends, mailing status, product changes, and optional marketing;
- maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service, including through aggregate or de-identified analysis; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes.
5. How we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Service providers. Providers that support identity and account access, payment processing, cloud hosting, analytics, communications, address and audience processing, security, and print-and-mail fulfillment.
- Advertising measurement providers. Meta may receive website events, Meta browser or click identifiers, and a normalized email address transformed with SHA-256 when a verified account registration is completed. Sendvo does not send plaintext registration email addresses, customer content, recipient lists, or postal addresses in this event.
- Your organization and authorized users. Workspace owners, administrators, members, and agents according to their permissions.
- Connected services. Third-party products you direct us to connect with or send information to.
- Legal and safety recipients. Authorities, advisers, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, or protect people, rights, and the Service.
- Business transfers. Parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Sendvo does not sell customer, user, or recipient information. Sendvo does not disclose customer content or recipient/address data for cross-context behavioral advertising or use customer content or recipient/address data to train general-purpose AI models.
6. Cookies and analytics
The public marketing site uses analytics to understand page use and performance. Some of those tools are cookieless. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled for a deployment, it may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. Those services may process technical information such as a network identifier, browser type, referrer, page views, and approximate region. Google Analytics loads only when a measurement ID is configured. We also use Meta Pixel for page-view and advertising-conversion measurement. Meta Pixel may set first-party _fbp or _fbc identifiers. The application uses essential cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, security, fraud prevention, and preferences.
To preserve the first signup source during the same browser tab, the marketing site uses sessionStorage (session storage) for a bounded first-touch record. When you choose Sign up, the site transfers validated UTM campaign labels, click identifiers present on the landing URL, a query-free Sendvo landing URL, and a query-free external referrer to the Sendvo signup link. We use this information to distinguish paid and organic traffic at registration. This record is not stored in an attribution cookie or local storage. The signup-attribution script does not run when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.
For a Sendvo signup started from the marketing site, Sendvo may also carry validated _fbp or _fbc values and the query-free landing-page path through an encrypted, integrity-checked authentication state that expires after 10 minutes. An unmatched server-side attribution join is deleted after 24 hours. On a signature-verified completed registration, Sendvo may send Meta the registration event, the same browser or click identifiers when available, the bounded browser user-agent string, the query-free landing-page path, and a normalized email address transformed with SHA-256. We do not send Meta plaintext registration email addresses, IP addresses, UTM labels, customer content, recipient lists, or postal addresses in that registration event. The Meta measurement and handoff code does not run when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the Service and for legitimate legal, accounting, tax, audit, dispute, fraud-prevention, support, and fulfillment purposes. Retention depends on the type of information, why we use it, contractual requirements, and applicable law. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to backups and records we are permitted or required to retain.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. You may also object to or restrict certain processing, request a portable copy where applicable, or appeal a denied request where law provides that right. Send a request to support@sendvo.io. We may need to verify your identity and authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
You can enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in a supported browser to prevent Sendvo’s Meta measurement and signup-attribution scripts from running. Browser controls can block or delete cookies and similar identifiers, although blocking essential application cookies may prevent sign-in.
Some information cannot be deleted immediately because we need it for an active Send, account security, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or other lawful purposes. We will explain any applicable limitation.
10. Email and communications
You can unsubscribe from optional marketing email using the link in the message. While you use the Service, we may still send necessary account, billing, security, Proof, transaction, and mailing-status communications.
11. Information about mail recipients
Businesses using Sendvo decide what they send and whom they choose to mail. If you received a mailpiece and want to change future mailing preferences, contact the sender identified on that mailpiece. You may separately contact Sendvo about privacy rights concerning personal information we maintain. We do not promise a universal do-not-mail registry across independent Sendvo customers.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. International processing
Sendvo and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date. We will notify account holders of material changes by email or in-product notice and request fresh acknowledgment or consent when required.
15. Contact
